Young Life & Intrepid Challenges

A challenge trip with Intrepid will take you to exotic destinations with like-minded travellers who are seeking adventure, excitement, fun and new challenges.

All trips are fully guided and costs include most meals, transport and transfers, accommodation, any park and country entrance fees, gear hire, porters, drinking water and snacks as well as a fundraising component to support the work of Young Life.

As you will see, there is a physical component to these trips. But don’t worry – we’ve given you plenty of time to get in shape for the experience of a lifetime!

How much?

The cost for a full Charity Challenge trip is $5000. But wait! The best part is – this is a charity challenge, so it’s not up to you to pay the $5000. Instead, you share with your friends, family, work colleagues or anyone else, that you are doing a Charity Challenge to raise money for the work of Young Life. Would they like to sponsor you? All gifts are fully tax deductible (Australian residents only). The cost of your trip is covered in this $5000.

We know it can sound rather daunting to raise $5000. But don’t worry. We have teamed up with My Cause to provide practical assistance and ideas in all your fundraising efforts. Young Life and My Cause are committed to helping you succeed!

An initial $500 deposit (non-refundable) must be made three months prior to your trip. You will then need to raise and pay the remainder of your balance six weeks prior to departure.
